SAN FRANCISCO, Snowflake Summit 2026 – Snowflake and Anthropic announce that their strategic partnership continues to grow as more companies move from AI experiments to production environments. Demand for AI solutions that combine advanced AI with security, governance, and compliance is rapidly increasing, driving the adoption of Anthropic’s Claude models within Snowflake Cortex AI.
The collaboration builds on the expanded partnership announced in December 2025, when Claude was directly integrated into Snowflake Cortex AI across all major cloud platforms. The goal is to help enterprises securely deploy AI agents without moving sensitive data outside of Snowflake’s platform.
AI directly on managed enterprise data
Anthropic brings advanced AI models through Claude, while Snowflake adds the governance, security, and scalability required for use in mission-critical environments. Through Snowflake Cortex AI, organizations can use Claude directly on data already stored in Snowflake, while maintaining existing security and governance mechanisms.
