Sofigate appoints Mikael Ekman as Country Lead for Sweden

Sofigate has appointed Mikael Ekman as its new Head of Sweden. The recruitment strengthens the company's Swedish operations at a time when demand for Business Technology and AI-supported business transformation is growing. 

In his role, Michael Ekman to lead Sofigate's operations in Sweden and drive the company's growth by helping customers combine technology-driven development, AI and business transformation to create long-term value. He will focus on strengthening relationships with customers and partners, promoting collaboration within the Nordic organization and further developing Sofigate's position in Sweden as a leading partner in business transformation and technology.  

Mikael Ekman has extensive experience in commercial leadership, business development and international growth. During his career, he has led and developed successful organizations, driven commercial transformation and built strong client relationships in the technology and consulting industries.  

Before he started on Sofigate Mikael held leading positions at Orange Business, Nexer Group, Tietoevry, Tieto and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Most recently he worked as Interim Sales Director at Orange Business. At Nexer Group he was responsible for the company's commercial development, international expansion and a portfolio consisting of eight business areas. At Tietoevry, Tieto and TCS he focused on business development and strategic growth in Sweden and internationally.
