Telia Cygate and Visma enter into agreement on Swedish data sovereignty

Visma has recently signed a central framework agreement with Telia Cygate. Publitech will be the first within the Visma Group to call off the agreement and will move its IT operations to Telia Cygates Swedish sovereign clouds. The collaboration strengthens the security and preparedness of Publitech's deliveries to the public sector and provides access to new Swedish AI infrastructure.

Publitech delivers mission-critical systems within payroll, HR, scheduling, finance and assistive technology logistics to the public sector. All of Publitech's cloud services will be operated in the new, superior infrastructure going forward. The collaboration secures data on Swedish soil, with security-classified personnel and an infrastructure designed to maintain operations even during heightened alert and other societal disruptions.

The partnership will also give Publitech access to the AI infrastructure that Telia and Brookfield are jointly planning to build in Sweden. Brookfield's investments and Telia Cygate's expertise in operations and superior AI services create a robust Swedish AI platform that enables the development of advanced AI solutions without sensitive information having to leave the country.
