Frank Koelmel has extensive experience in leading commercial roles within the cybersecurity industry. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at Logpoint. He has also held senior positions at Cybereason, Palo Alto Networks and FireEye, where he worked with global sales, partner development and market growth.

Bitdefender also continues to develop its GravityZone security platform, which combines endpoint protection, risk management, compliance, and advanced detection and response capabilities. The platform is complemented by the company’s managed security services that help organizations identify and manage cyber threats in real time.

In recent years, Bitdefender has also invested in new technologies to reduce organizations' attack surfaces. One example is PHASR (Proactive Hardening and Attack Surface Reduction), a solution that combines behavioral-based security hardening with threat intelligence to proactively reduce the risk of cyberattacks against endpoints and users.

With Frank Koelmel in place as CRO, Bitdefender further strengthen its international market position and continue to develop its partner network, while the company meets the growing demand for automated, scalable and AI-driven cybersecurity solutions.

The appointment marks another step in Bitdefender's ambition to grow globally and help organizations meet an increasingly advanced and rapidly changing cyber threat landscape.
