Westcon-Comstor, a global technology distributor focused on cybersecurity, networking and hybrid cloud solutions, today announced that 1Password has joined the company’s AWS Marketplace program. The partnership will enable resellers and partners in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to purchase 1Password’s identity security solutions through private offerings in the AWS Marketplace.
The agreement allows partners to purchase 1Password software through Westcon-Comstor, while also providing access to activation support, consulting and billing services. The goal is to simplify the purchasing process and delivery of identity security solutions to end customers.
Building on established collaboration
The AWS Marketplace program is built on the AWS Designated Seller of Record (DSOR) model and is designed to help partners close deals faster, shorten sales cycles, and create new revenue opportunities. 1Password is the latest vendor to join the program since it launched in 2024.
The collaboration builds on that distribution agreement that Westcon-Comstor and 1Password was included for the entire EMEA region last year.
According to analyst firm Omdia, sales via hyperscaler marketplaces are expected to reach $163 billion by 2030. A large portion of these investments are expected to go through the partner channel, underscoring the growing importance of cloud-based marketplaces for both suppliers and resellers.

– The addition of 1Password further strengthens the value we offer through our AWS Marketplace program. Partners are increasingly viewing marketplaces as a strategic channel and are looking for faster and more flexible ways to complete deals. By offering 1Password through AWS Marketplace, we help our partners close deals faster, scale their growth, and deliver a security solution that meets real customer needs, says Peter Woest, Cloud Marketplace Partnerships Director at Westcon-Comstor.
Simplifies identity security procurement
1Password sees the collaboration as a way to make it easier for its partner network to sell and deliver the company's solutions as more and more organizations use AWS Marketplace to streamline their purchasing.

“This collaboration is about meeting our partners where they want to buy and making it easier to do business with 1Password. As more organizations use AWS Marketplace to simplify their procurements, the collaboration with Westcon-Comstor gives our partners a smoother way to offer 1Password Unified Access to customers while helping them build a strong foundation for identity security, says Larissa Crandall, Global Vice President of Channel and Alliances at 1Password.
