Westcon Comstor Weblib AWS Marketplace The collaboration expands when Westcon Comstor becomes the exclusive distributor of Weblib's Smart Wifi solution via AWS Marketplace for partners in EMEA and internationally.
Westcon Comstor announces that the company is deepening its collaboration with Weblib through a new agreement linked to AWS Marketplace. The partnership aims to strengthen partner access, simplify transactions and create new growth opportunities for channel partners across multiple regions.
Westcon Comstor is a global technology distributor with specialist expertise in cybersecurity, networking and hybrid cloud. The expanded collaboration will enable partners to buy and sell Weblib's cloud-based Smart Wifi solution directly through AWS Marketplace. This simplifies both purchasing processes and invoicing while making delivery to end customers faster and more scalable.
The agreement means that Westcon Comstor can list Weblib's software offerings privately on AWS Marketplace. Partners in the UK, as well as in markets across Europe and the Middle East, will thus have access to a complete commercial model where Smart Wifi can be offered as an integrated part of cloud-based services. The solution is designed to create an efficient and seamless transaction experience for both partners and their customers.
Weblib with headquarters in Paris has joined Westcon Comstors AWS Marketplace program launched to simplify partner access to cloud marketplaces. The program also includes other established technology players such as Cisco and Juniper Networks, contributing to a strong ecosystem with broad technical expertise.
According to Omdia forecasts, channel partners will handle approximately 59 percent of the estimated $163 billion expected to be spent on hyperscale cloud marketplaces by 2030. Westcon Comstor is positioning its AWS Marketplace initiative to help partners capitalize on this development through structures, tools, and support that can contribute to faster deal closures and improved profitability.
The program is based on the AWS Designated Seller of Record model and provides partners with access to a wide range of support services. This includes advice from a dedicated in-house team, as well as multi-currency functionality and the ability to combine multiple products into a single offering. This allows partners to create comprehensive solutions tailored to different industries and customer requirements.
The long-term cooperation between Westcon Comstor and Weblib was launched in France and expanded to the entire EMEA region last year. Weblib's Smart Wifi technology gives organizations full control over their networks and delivers insights into user behavior in a way that is compliant with current regulations and data protection requirements.
The solution is used in sectors such as retail, hospitality, education, and healthcare where reliable connectivity, analytics, and insight-driven optimization are crucial for both customer experience and efficient operations.
Cloud marketplaces like AWS Marketplaces are playing an increasingly important role in how software is bought, sold and delivered globally. For channel partners, this means new business models, faster time-to-market and simplified administration. Collaborations like Westcon Comstor Weblib AWS The Marketplace partnership demonstrates how distributors and software vendors can work together to create scalable and compliant offerings that meet growing demand across multiple industries.
