Roaring welcomes Fatemeh Mahmoudi Molin as the new Head of Growth to lead the company's in-house growth team.

Roaring continues its growth journey and strengthens management with heavy recruitment – Fatemeh Mahmoudi Molin taking on the role of Head of Growth.
With experience from global companies such as Google, Volvo Cars, HBO Nordic, SAS and Comviq, she will now build an in-house growth team with a focus on profitable expansion, sustainable scaling and data-driven development.

Over the past three years, Roaring tripled its turnover, grew the team by over 130 % and established itself as a leading player in data-driven risk management. The company has been named one of Sweden's most promising SaaS companies by Breakit Rising Stars 2024 and 2025, and has also been named the fastest growing SaaS company in the Nordics by Main Software 50 Nordics.

Roaring is now in a phase where structures, data and culture will meet in a new phase of expansion. Therefore, the company has chosen to invest in building an internal growth team that combines business strategy, marketing, product development and analytics under one roof.

“Fatemeh combines growth strategy with a deep understanding of product and data – she knows how to scale with both pace and heart. This is exactly the leadership we need as we strengthen our position as the obvious partner for organizations looking to work data-driven with risk management and improve their work against financial crime,” says Johan Jensen, CEO of Roaring.

Solid background in tech, telecom and streaming

Fatemeh has over 15 years of experience leading growth journeys in complex, international organizations. At Google she was responsible for growth strategies for Northern Europe, at HBO Nordic she helped lower churn from 30 % to 8 %, and on Comviq She participated in the transition from prepaid cards to subscriptions – a change that doubled the customer base.

In SAS she drove the development of digital additional services and launched initiatives such as SAS Upgrades and SAS Go Light, which laid the foundation for new revenue streams and strengthened customer loyalty. At Volvo Cars she was part of the strategic transition from traditional car sales to Volvo, a subscription model that was launched in five new countries.

Most recently, Fatemeh comes from Mentimeter, where she worked with product-led global growth (PLG) in the company's scale-up phase. In all roles, she has led cross-functional teams and built cultures where innovation, data and customer insight work together for long-term profitability.

“I have always been drawn to companies in motion, where you can create real change. Roaring is in an exciting phase, with a clear product, a sharp purpose and a market that is growing rapidly. We are ahead of our time in what is possible in regulatory technology,” says Fatemeh Mahmoudi Molin, Head of Growth at Roaring.

Data-driven growth with social benefit

Roaring combines data and technology with social benefit and helps banks, the public sector and companies to prevent economic crime and business risks through holistic analyses of risk, transaction patterns and historical relationships. Through its API solutions and platform services, the company makes it easier for customers to work proactively with compliance, onboarding and risk assessment – areas that are growing rapidly in line with new regulatory requirements.

“I find it inspiring that Roaring is contributing to something as important as protecting society and community resources. There is a strong foundation of values here, but also enormous technical expertise. When you see how quickly you can detect risk patterns and prevent crimes with the right data, you realize what a difference it can make,” continues Fatemeh Mahmoudi Molin.

In her new role, she leads a cross-functional growth team of five people with responsibility for the entire growth chain – from demand and positioning to customer journey, product marketing and loyalty. The team will act as an internal accelerator for Roaring's expansion in the Nordics and Europe.

“Growth is not about shouting the loudest, but about creating value. We should understand the entire customer journey, drive growth with data and creativity, but also have fun, celebrate successes and grow together. I immediately felt that there was a strong energy at Roaring – unpretentious, curious and ambitious. Companies grow the most when people feel good, feel responsible and dare to contribute their ideas,” she concludes.
