Pax8, the leading cloud trading marketplace, has announced the appointment of Kathryn Almendarez Marsman to the role of Senior Vice President of Global Vendor AlliancesIn her new role, Marsman will be responsible for developing and owning Pax8's global supplier alliances, building long-term relationships, and driving new global go-to-market (GTM) strategies. She will report directly to Oguo Atuanya, Corporate Vice President of Vendor Experience at Pax8.

The Martian takes over 25 years of experience in global partner strategy, business transformation and market developmentHer most recent role was at Microsoft, where she led work on Scale. Solution Partners within the global partner solutions organization Worldwide. There she handled some of the Microsoft's biggest strategic partners and was responsible for initiatives that contributed billions in revenue, especially within Azure and Microsoft's growing AI investments.

During her many years at Microsoft, Kathryn has held several leadership roles both within The Global Partner organization and in sales. She has built high-performing teams, established strategic partnerships and delivered strong growth results. Particularly significant was her work with innovation in AI, safety and Copilot, where she helped Microsoft partners transform their operations in global scale.
In addition to her work at Microsoft, Kathryn Almendarez Marsman has an academic background with an MBA in management from University of Dallas and a bachelor's degree in marketing from University of Texas at El PasoShe has also been active as an advisor on the University of Texas Business Advisory Council and has received several industry awards, including CRN Women of the Channel and Microsoft's Circle Awards of Excellence.
