Barkfors recruits Magnus Berg as new CTO

Barkfors, which is part of the software group Progrits, recruiting Magnus Berg to the role of operational CTO. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the technical development of the company's core product, the T5 transportation planning system.

Magnus Berg has just over 20 years of experience from leading roles in software development. He previously worked for nearly ten years at Axis Communications where he was responsible for global development projects. He then served as development manager at the digital healthcare provider Min Doktor. Most recently, he came from Consafe Logistics where he worked with the development of solutions and operations within transport and logistics.

As CTO, he will work both operationally and strategically with the development team to strengthen the current functionality in T5 and at the same time lead the long-term technical journey with a focus on future-proofing and product development. Magnus has strong technical expertise in cloud and data as well as extensive experience in building successful teams, which will be a very valuable addition to creating even more efficient transport flows for our customers, says Jerker Bäcklin, CEO at Barkfors.

Barkfors is headquartered in Malmo and is behind the market-leading transport planning system T5, which is used to digitize, streamline and plan the entire logistics flow for larger hauliers as well as courier and cleaning companies.
