Ronald Meuwsen and Vanessa Löfving are also joining, to lead business development and a new offering within professional services, following this spring's investment from MOOR Holding.

Stream Analyze, the Edge AI software company, today announces three additions to the team, all of whom joined during the summer. Co-founder Johan Risch takes office as Chief Technology Officer, Ronald Meuwsen as Business Development Director and Vanessa Löfving as Head of Professional Services.

After just over a year out in the broader industry, where companies are just starting to realize what Edge AI can do, I am even more convinced that what Stream Analyze offers will become absolutely essential for anyone who wants to get more functional benefit and see real business results – and it is built on well-thought-out implementations at the edge.

The recruitments follow the appointment of Stefan Månsby as CEO and an increased investment from long-term owner MOOR Holding earlier this year. Together, they give the company both technical clout and commercial reach as it scales up its work with industrial partners in Europe and North America.

Johan Risch was a co-founder of Stream Analyze and led the architecture behind the Stream Analyze Platform, the company's system for building, adapting, running and querying AI models directly on edge devices. He takes on the role of CTO after just over a year at Weir Minerals as Senior AI Engineer and Technical Lead for Predictive Analytics.

“After just over a year in the broader industry, where companies are just starting to realize what Edge AI can do, I am even more convinced that what Stream Analyze offers will be absolutely essential for anyone who wants to get more functional benefit and see real business results – and it is built on well-thought-out implementations at the edge.”

Johan Risch, CTO, Stream Analyze

Ronald Meuwsen comes from Wind River, where he was Sales Director EMEA, with previous commercial roles at Red Hat and Oracle. He will lead business development in Europe and North America.

“What made me choose Stream Analyze is that we can challenge customers and make them rethink their architecture choices. With a proven offering and a skilled team, I look forward to helping customers move decisions out to machines, devices and sensors at the edge.”

Vanessa Löfving comes from DNV, where she was Consultant Manager for GRC and Information Security within DNV Cyber for three years, responsible for a consulting team and its commercial results. At Stream Analyze, she will build the company's consulting and professional services business, and work with industrial customers on where Edge AI is worth using and what it brings them.

“Most companies I talk to have moved past the question of whether Edge AI works. What they want to know is where to start, and what it actually gives them on their own machines. That’s the question I’m going to help them answer.”

“MOOR Holdings” investment gave us the space to recruit, and these were the roles we prioritized: someone who knows the technology inside out, someone who can open up the European and North American markets, and someone who can take customers from idea to system in operation.”
