Aura Business has entered into a strategic partnership with TD SYNNEX to help retailers and MSPs manage the growing security risks associated with BYOD, ”Bring Your Own Device”.
The partnership means that Aura Business’s identity-centric security platform is now available through TD SYNNEX’s network of resellers and managed service providers in North America. The solution is designed to protect corporate access from employees’ personal devices without the company needing to manage the device itself or gain access to the user’s personal data.

The backdrop is a rapidly growing demand for secure BYOD solutions as hybrid and distributed work environments become the norm for many organizations. According to new analysis from Omdia, 65 percent of MSPs say that customers are requesting BYOD management services, while 55 percent report at least one security incident related to personal devices in the past two years. Despite this, only 24 percent currently actively monitor employees’ personal devices.
Aura Business describes its platform as a complement to traditional IT and security solutions. The focus is on reducing identity-based threats such as phishing, account hijacking and stolen login credentials in modern hybrid environments.
“Through our partnership with TD SYNNEX, we can provide MSPs with a simpler way to protect their customers without adding complexity to their security stack,” said Jason Coville, head of MSP operations at Aura Business.
TD SYNNEX also highlights the collaboration as part of the company's broader focus on cybersecurity and modern work environments.
“By adding Aura Business to our portfolio, we strengthen the opportunities for our ecosystem to help customers increase efficiency, differentiate in the market and create future growth,” said Scott Young, SVP Vendor Management at TD SYNNEX.
The solution is available immediately via the TD SYNNEX Marketplace.
