TCS ABB AI partnership marks a strategic step where the companies deepen their collaboration in AI, data centers and industrial digitalization.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announces that it has signed a letter of intent with ABB to strengthen the companies' strategic collaboration in IT infrastructure and applications, digital and industrial AI initiatives, data centers and other emerging technologies. The MoU reflects the parties' shared intention to drive innovation, operational resilience and sustainable growth through a long-term partnership strategy.
As part of the MoU, the parties will combine ABB's leadership in electrification and automation with TCS's global technology and delivery capabilities in the following key areas of collaboration:
- Transformation of IT infrastructure and applications: Promote an agile, secure, resilient and cost-optimized IT foundation in line with ABB's business model. The focus will be on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- AI and factory modernization: Collaboration around industrial AI, digital twins, vision-based inspection and convergence between OT and IT.
- Opportunities for AI infrastructure development: The parties will also explore new business opportunities in electrification, automation and software created by TCS' planned investment in AI infrastructure in India.
