Damovo, a leading international ICT services provider, today announced a strategic partnership with Alcatel-Lucent (ALE) to deliver secure and robust mission-critical communications in the Nordics. The partnership combines ALE’s portfolio of emergency and mission-critical communications with Damovo’s integration expertise, managed services, project management and local language support. Together, the companies will help law enforcement agencies, government agencies and critical services modernize communications environments that must function even under demanding operational conditions.

For mission-critical customers, technology is only part of the picture. Success depends on whether the solution is properly integrated, secure, and locally supported by people who understand the customer's environment and language.

Choosing the right technology is only part of the challenge for law enforcement agencies, government agencies, and other critical organizations. The solution also needs to work with both legacy systems and cloud-based environments, meet high security requirements, and be supported by people who understand the local operational environment.

This is what Damovo contributes to the partnership

As a delivery and service partner, Damovo offers professional project management, integration into multi-vendor environments, migration planning and comprehensive managed services throughout the solution lifecycle. First-line support is delivered in the local language, with the possibility of escalation to second- and third-line specialists within the Damovo Group if necessary. In a crisis situation, local language support can make a significant difference to response times. Damovo’s ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications reflect the standards for information security and service quality that characterize the company’s daily work.

Damovo has decades of experience delivering complex communications infrastructure and secure networks for demanding environments, providing Nordic customers with a partner that can design, implement, operate and support mission-critical solutions over time.

A joint response to the needs of Nordic organizations

The partnership builds on larger 112 emergency communication projects in the Nordics and will initially focus on mission-critical communications and transformation towards cloud-first solutions. Many authorities and companies want to benefit from the flexibility of cloud services without compromising availability, data control or digital sovereignty. Damovo and ALE will support hybrid architectures designed to meet high security standards and regulatory requirements, including NIS2.

The collaboration will initially target the public sector, healthcare, transportation, energy and utilities, and manufacturing industries, where robust communication and operational continuity are business-critical. Damovo also sees growing interest from smart cities, ports and airports, and larger distributed operations as security awareness increases.

“For mission-critical customers, technology is only part of the picture. Success is determined by whether the solution is properly integrated, secure, and locally supported by people who understand the customer’s environment and language. That responsibility, from the first design workshop to day-to-day operations, is what Damovo brings to this partnership. Together with Alcatel-Lucent, we can provide Nordic organizations with robust communications and a delivery model they can trust.”

Jörgen Gröhn, Managing Director Nordics, Damovo

“This partnership brings together Alcatel-Lucent’s hybrid cloud modernization capabilities with Damovo’s proven integration and managed services expertise. Together, we can help organizations in public sector, healthcare, manufacturing and other critical sectors achieve digital sovereignty while supporting compliance with regulations like NIS2.”

Magnus Sees, Country Business Leader, Alcatel-Lucent

Forward

The partnership is launched in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, with the possibility of expanding to more sectors, deeper managed services and additional markets as demand grows. Damovo and ALE will monitor commercial development and joint pipeline as well as customer outcomes such as availability, response times, quality of project deliveries and improved operational readiness.

By combining Alcatel-Lucent's secure communications and networking technology with Damovo's integration, managed services and local support, the partnership provides mission-critical operations in the Nordics with a practical path to communications environments that are secure, robust and ready for everyday operational demands.
