Sigma Technology will contribute with specialist expertise

Through the agreement, Sigma Technology IT Infra will be able to contribute specialist expertise in areas such as system development, digital architecture and information security for socially critical operations.

For Sigma Technology, the agreement represents another opportunity to strengthen its presence in the public sector, where requirements for safety, quality and long-term competence supply are central.

Richard Gustafsson, CEO of Sigma Technology IT Infra, highlights the company's previous experience from the public sector and security-critical operations.

– Through our assignments in the public sector and defense-related activities, we have built up strong expertise in quality-assured and safety-critical deliveries. These are experiences that we also bring with us in the collaboration with Digg. Through this agreement, we have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the digital infrastructure that is central to Sweden's continued digitalization, says Richard Gustafsson, CEO of Sigma Technology IT Infra.

Growing position in the public sector

Sigma Technology has signed a large number of agreements with public sector organizations in recent years. The new framework agreement with Digg is another step in the company's focus on the public sector.

– The demand for specialist expertise in digitalization is increasing in the public sector. In recent years, we have built a strong position in the area and signed 60 agreements with public organizations. The framework agreement with Digg is further proof of that trust, says Johan Edlund, CEO of Sigma Technology IT Group.

Sigma Technology IT Group is also included as a framework agreement supplier within government framework agreements for IT consulting services.

The framework agreement has a ceiling volume of SEK 650 million.

The total ceiling volume for Digg's procurement is SEK 650 million. The procurement covers a wide range of skills, including developers, IT and solution architects, project managers, analysts, business developers, information security and IT security.

The ceiling volume should not be interpreted as a guaranteed contract value for Sigma Technology. It is about the maximum volume covered by the framework agreement and where multiple suppliers may be interested in the assignment.

Digg will play a central role in Sweden's continued digitalization

Digg is a government agency with a mission to support and coordinate the digitalization of public administration. The agency is also responsible for parts of Sweden's common digital infrastructure and works to create the conditions for a more cohesive and efficient digital public administration.

For suppliers of IT consulting services, developments in the public sector mean a market where expertise in systems development, architecture, information security and secure digital infrastructure is becoming increasingly important.

The framework agreement provides Sigma Technology opportunity to be part of that development and contribute specialist expertise when Digg carries out future call-offs.
