Tata Group TCS OpenAI, AI partnership marks a strategic step to accelerate global AI transformation in business and society.
The collaboration spans several important areas: promoting innovation in Tata Group companies, to jointly help companies with their transition to AI, as well as to build the technical infrastructure required for AI in India.
Main points of the collaboration:
- AI tools for employees: Thousands of employees across the Tata Group will have access to Enterprise ChatGPT, a powerful version of the AI service tailored for enterprises. This is being done to increase the pace of innovation and productivity. TCS will also use OpenAI's technology to streamline its own software development.
- Industry-specific AI solutions: By combining OpenAI's advanced AI models with TCS' deep industry knowledge, the partners will develop new, effective AI solutions tailored to specific challenges.
- Common market initiatives: TCS and OpenAI will jointly help companies in India and globally adapt their businesses with the help of AI. TCS will assist its clients in implementing and scaling OpenAI's advanced AI platforms.
- Development of AI infrastructure in India: TCS and OpenAI have entered into a multi-year agreement to build and develop large-scale AI infrastructure in India. This will be able to handle the most demanding AI systems and position India as a global hub for artificial intelligence.
- Social Initiatives in India: The OpenAI Foundation and TCS will collaborate to provide AI training and resources to young people in India, with the goal of empowering them to use AI responsibly and thereby improve the livelihoods of at least one million young people in India.
