ServiceNow Autonomous Workforce marks the next step in the evolution of enterprise AI and integrates Moveworks into the ServiceNow AI Platform.
ServiceNow today introduces Autonomous Workforce, a new generation of AI specialists who can think, make decisions and perform work independently in enterprise environments. At the same time, Moveworks is fully integrated into the ServiceNow AI Platform with the launch of ServiceNow EmployeeWorks.
With Autonomous Workforce, ServiceNow takes the next step in the evolution of enterprise AI. Instead of just making recommendations, AI can now execute entire workflows from start to finish with built-in governance, transparency, and compliance. The solution is designed to work side by side with people and free up time for more strategic and value-creating work.
Autonomous Workforce consists of role-based AI specialists who are trained for specific business areas, such as IT support, HR, customer service and security operations. These AI specialists can handle cases, coordinate actions across multiple systems and work continuously 24/7 with full traceability.
Two months after completing the acquisition of Moveworks, ServiceNow is also introducing EmployeeWorks. The solution combines Moveworks’ conversational AI and advanced enterprise search with ServiceNow’s unified portal and autonomous workflows. The result is a natural language interface where employees can ask questions and initiate tasks directly through Microsoft Teams, for example., Slack or browser.

EmployeeWorks transforms user requests into complete execution across multiple systems. AI identifies intent, initiates the right processes, handles approvals, and completes tasks with built-in controls and governance mechanisms. The platform is designed to support up to 200 million users globally.
According to ServiceNow, the launch marks a shift from functional AI layered on top of standalone SaaS applications to a unified platform that actually performs work through integrated workflows. By bringing together data, processes, and AI on a single platform, it creates a more cohesive and scalable model for digital transformation.

EmployeeWorks is available for customers starting today. The first AI specialist within Autonomous Workforce, focused on IT support at level 1, is initially launched in a controlled rollout with broader availability planned for Q2 2026. Moveworks will also continue to be offered as a standalone solution within the ServiceNow AI Platform.
With Autonomous Workforce and the integration of Moveworks, ServiceNow strengthens its position as a platform for AI-driven business renewal and takes further steps towards redefining how work is done in modern organizations.
