The solution enables management of offline locks from multiple vendors in a single unified system with a common access authority. This frees organizations from being tied to proprietary access cards, fragmented workflows, or a fixed deployment model. This simplifies day-to-day administration for security teams, provides a more consistent access experience for users, and supports better utilization of existing access control investments.

While many access control systems tie offline functionality to a specific system architecture, Genetec™ Security Center and Security Center SaaS support deployment in on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. This means organizations can apply the same offline lock-down strategy regardless of how their security system is implemented. This allows organizations to gradually evolve their security infrastructure, align it with their IT strategy, and modernize at a pace that suits their business.
