Focus on listening and learning from people who meet customers daily for the best ideas.Welcome to Gibbon, Yvonne! Who are you and what have you done before?
I usually say that I am very curious about how companies can grow! I have worked for a long time with B2B marketing but also business development and service packaging. So far, I have worked with both fast-growing start-ups and larger corporations, which has given me a slightly different perspective on what drives growth. No matter where I have been, sales, customer value and development have been the common thread.
What made you choose Gibon?
It actually started with the meeting with CEO Katrin Lindahl Wallin. When she told me about Gibbons journey so far and where the group was going, I immediately felt that this was something I wanted to be a part of. Already in the first meeting, I also got a very good feeling for her as a leader and quickly felt that this is a person I would love to work with. You could say that curiosity won out. The more I learned about Gibbon, the more questions I got. That's always a good sign I think!
What I like most about Gibon is that there is a drive and pace, but also a willingness to help each other and become stronger together.
What are you most looking forward to contributing?
I want to contribute with a commercial perspective and help us become even clearer in how we describe the value of what we do.
We are often very good at delivering, but sometimes we forget that customers don't see everything we do behind the scenes. If we can make our offerings easier to understand, it will also be easier for customers to choose us. It may sound simple, but it can make a big difference.
What is your focus at first?
First and foremost, to continue listening and getting to know the business. The best ideas rarely come from a PowerPoint, but from people who meet customers every day. That's why I'm really looking forward to getting to know all of our different offices more!
