Louise Moser Grammatikas steps in as the new CEO of Castra Väst, with extensive experience in business development, leadership and recruitment within the IT and technology industry. With a clear drive, strong business understanding and a genuine focus on people, she now takes over the helm of one of Castra's most important regions.
Louise has a background as a social worker, but chose to focus on company building and business development early on. After a few years in social work, she made the move to the private sector – where she has since built up over 15 years of experience in the recruitment and consulting industry.
She has held several leadership roles, including regional manager for West and South Sweden and national sales manager in a listed company. In recent years, she has been her own business and supported companies both strategically and operationally in recruitment, sales and as an interim leader.
“You see both the people and the business”
What made Louise choose Castra was precisely the balance that many talk about – but few actually achieve:
– When I chose to accept Castra, it was largely because Castra has succeeded in combining being a business driver, looking after its employees and at the same time having real fun along the way – you see both people and the business. Being part of that and continuing to build the company with clear growth plans in a challenging and exciting market where I have to be on my toes all the time, felt like an obvious choice, says Louise.
“Want to be a leader who walk the talk“Louise describes her leadership as present, curious and clearly goal-focused – with a strong belief in creating results together.
– Our consultants will meet a leader who believes in the power of doing things together, with clear goals and a sense of meaning. I want to be close to the business, understand our consultants' everyday lives and ambitions – and together create really good collaborations with our clients.
– I want to be perceived as a leader who walks the talk. Speaking of walking... I know I'm perceived as having difficulty sitting still, apparently you can hear my quick steps in the corridor from afar... If you call me, I'm often on the go, because in a slightly more adult age I've learned to channel that movement and get a lot of my energy from exciting meetings with customers, consultants and candidates.
– Our customers will perceive me as committed and results-oriented, constantly seeking understanding of their business, challenges and goals. I want it to be felt and noticed that we create business benefit and value in the customer's organization both in the short and long term. The goal is for our collaboration to feel like a natural extension of their (customers') organization where I, we Castrate, takes full responsibility for our collaboration.
Ready to start
What she's most looking forward to? Simple:
– Everything! Getting started, meeting all our consultants and customers so that I can really get to know us, Castra! The first deal is something special - the trust from the customer and the joy of our employee who gets to take on an exciting assignment. I'm looking forward to hitting the ground running, to put it mildly...
Three things Louise had brought with her to a deserted island
– Portable water purifier, fishing equipment and a boat – so I can get home when I feel like it.
We look forward to welcoming Louise to Castrate and continue to develop the business in the West together. With her focus on both people and business, we take the next step in our journey.
