ServiceNow launches Autonomous Security – six new solutions for AI-powered cyber defense

ServiceNow Unveils Six Security Solutions with AI Specialists to Enable Proactive, AI-Powered Cyber Defense That Operates at Machine Speed

ServiceNow is expanding its autonomous security focus with six integrated solutions for proactive, AI-powered cyber defense. The solutions span exposure management, vulnerability detection, physical cybersecurity, identity and access security, and incident management and compliance. With new AI specialists that autonomously complete security workflows, organizations can act before threats become breaches.

As companies adopt agent-based AI, exposure is increasing faster than human teams or standalone tools can handle. The average company uses over 70 security tools, fragmenting the view. ServiceNow brings this complexity together into a system where assets, identities, and agents are visible, protected, governed, and auditable in a single flow. This is enabled by what the company calls Shift Zero: the shift from fragmented, reactive security to built-in prevention at every layer, where the organization can always answer what each system is doing, why, and who is responsible.

“As AI-related vulnerabilities grow exponentially, security teams are still working at a human pace,”, says Yevgeny Dibrov, SVP and General Manager of Cybersecurity and Risk at ServiceNow. “Machine identities are doubling every eighteen months. Organizations need autonomous security that matches the scale and speed of the threats coming. Security becomes an enabler, not a brake.”

The six solution areas

Unified exposure management – collects vulnerability data from all sources and prioritizes actions based on business context and level of exploitation (Agentic Exposure Management, Vulnerability Resolution AI Specialist).

Continuous vulnerability detection – covers code, cloud and infrastructure in one platform (Application Security, DAST, EASM).

Physical cybersecurity – agentless discovery and real-time monitoring for OT, medical technology and IoT.

Identity and access security – controls access for AI agents and machine identities according to the principle of least privilege.

Agent-based incident management – Tier 2 SOC AI Specialist builds and executes response plans independently, with escalation only for high-risk decisions.

Cyber risk and compliance – make compliance a continuous signal rather than a seasonal event (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, HIPAA) as well as migration to quantum-safe cryptography.

Customer Voice

“For organizations operating in complex industrial environments, effective cybersecurity begins with understanding risk and maintaining visibility across the entire business,”, says Brandon Glaze, Sr. Director, Cybersecurity (OT/ICS) at Baker Hughes.

Availability

Most solutions are available now. Tier 2 SOC AI Specialist, Vulnerability Resolution AI Specialist, Agentic AI for Continuous Control Monitoring, and Cryptographic Asset Compliance are expected to be available in December 2026.
