Ed Keisling is Progress first Chief AI OfficerHe has previously held several key roles within the company, most recently as Chief Engineering Officer in Infrastructure Management. In his new role, he will focus on the AI strategy and help customers maximize the benefits of AI in their operations.
Leadership in AI strategy
Ed Keisling is Progress' first Chief AI Officer (CAIO). His new role is to lead Progress' AI strategy and develop the company's product offering to help customers use AI in their businesses. He reports directly to the company's CEO, Yogesh Gupta.

Long experience in technology and innovation
Keisling has previously been a chief engineer in infrastructure management at Progress.There he played an important role in to drive innovation and streamline operations. He has extensive experience in leadership roles in the technology industry, particularly in systems architecture, cloud services, and management of large IT infrastructures. At Vecna Technologies, he was part of the management team and was responsible for areas such as development, IT, DevOps, support, project management, and analytics. Prior to that, he worked for over 17 years in various senior engineering roles at Pegasystems.
AI's impact on business-critical solutions

Commitment to education and mentoring
In addition to his work at Progress, Keisling is involved in education and mentoring programs for engineers. He is a mentor and lecturer in, among others, the UNH Pathways Program and MIT's Undergraduate Practice Opportunities Program (UPOP).
