AI-powered cybersecurity company Konvu has been named the winner of the first-ever Cyber Startup Award at Infosecurity Europe 2026 in London. The award was created to highlight the next generation of cybersecurity companies and recognize innovative startups with ready-made products and strong growth potential.
The award is organized by Infosecurity Europe in collaboration with UK Cyber Flywheel and is part of a larger effort to strengthen Europe's cybersecurity ecosystem by creating meeting places between entrepreneurs, investors, customers and industry leaders.
New platform for future cybersecurity innovation
The Cyber Startup Award was introduced for the first time during this year's edition of Infosecurity Europe, one of Europe's largest meeting places for the cybersecurity industry.
Behind the initiative lies an ambition to give young cybersecurity companies greater visibility while helping organizations discover next-generation security technology.
The finalists presented their solutions live to an expert jury of leading security professionals, investors and business leaders. After the final presentations, Konvu emerged as the winner.
AI-native vulnerability management platform
Convo is developing an AI-native vulnerability management platform that uses intelligent AI agents to automate analysis, prioritization, and remediation of security vulnerabilities.
The goal is to help security and development teams manage the rapidly growing number of vulnerabilities discovered in modern IT environments.
According to the company, the challenge is growing as AI accelerates the ability of both defenders and attackers to identify new security holes, reducing the time between the discovery of a vulnerability and its exploitation by cybercriminals.

Lucas Masson: “AI must help us work at machine speed”
Lucas Masson, CEO and co-founder of Konvu, sees the award as an important recognition of the company's vision.
He believes that today's security teams are facing a growing problem where the number of vulnerabilities is increasing faster than organizations' ability to analyze and fix them manually.
Konvu's strategy is therefore to use AI agents that can automatically investigate, prioritize and, in some cases, even suggest measures for identified vulnerabilities.
For a young cybersecurity company, awards like this also mean increased credibility in the market and greater opportunities to accelerate growth internationally.
The jury was impressed by the vision and market focus
According to Infosecurity Europe, Konvu impressed the jury by combining a clear long-term vision with a concrete solution to a growing problem in cybersecurity.
The jury particularly highlighted the company's platform strategy and its focus on solving real challenges that security teams face every day.
The jury members included several well-known profiles in the cybersecurity industry, including Shlomo Kramer, founder of Check Point, Imperva and Cato Networks, among others.

Five startups competed for the title
Konvu was named the winner after competing against four other finalists from different parts of the world:
- Cytidel – vulnerability intelligence and risk analysis
- Datambit – AI-based detection of deepfakes in audio and video
- Ploy – agent-based access intelligence
- RedCarbon – AI support for SOC teams and incident management
All companies presented their solutions live to the audience and jury during the event.
Part of a larger investment in cybersecurity startups
The Cyber Startup Award is part of the new Cyber Startup Programme launched during Infosecurity Europe 2026.
The program includes, among other things:
- Dedicated startup zone on the exhibition floor
- Investor and founder track
- Networking meetings between startups and investors
- Mentoring and counseling programs
- Cyber Startup Award live pitch competition
The aim is to create better conditions for innovative cybersecurity companies to grow and reach the market.
Winning brings more than just a trophy
In addition to the prestigious award, Konvu receives a comprehensive growth package that includes:
- Free exhibition space at Infosecurity Europe 2027
- PR support from specialized cybersecurity consultants
- Strategic brand consulting
- Access to investors and industry contacts
The award is designed to help promising cybersecurity companies take the next step in their international expansion faster.
AI and automation are shaping the next generation of cybersecurity
That the first winner of the Cyber Startup Award is a company focused on AI-driven vulnerability management reflects a clear trend in the cybersecurity industry.
More and more security organizations today are looking for solutions that can automate labor-intensive processes and help teams prioritize among thousands of security alerts, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
Konvu's success also shows how AI is becoming a central component in future cybersecurity platforms, where the combination of human expertise and intelligent automation becomes crucial to meeting an increasingly fast-paced threat landscape.
