Built for next-generation AI infrastructure
AI workloads are driving rapid evolution in the data center industry. Modern GPU servers and high-performance computing platforms require significantly more power, cooling, and physical capacity than traditional server environments.
Designed to support these new requirements, Vertiv Rack Extreme is available in multiple sizes and configurations to suit different data center environments. The racks come fully assembled and can be equipped with a wide range of accessories for cable management, airflow optimization and future expansion.
Can handle over two tons of equipment
One of the most prominent features of the Vertiv Rack Extreme is its high load capacity. The platform can handle up to 2,045 kg of load, which makes it possible to install more and heavier servers in each rack.
Unlike many traditional rack solutions, Vertiv Rack Extreme maintains the same load capacity even during transport and movement, meaning that equipment does not need to be removed from the rack during internal moves within the data center.
According to Vertiv, this provides up to twice the dynamic load capacity and up to 1.3 times the static load capacity compared to conventional rack solutions.
Focus on installation and operation
The rack platform is designed to simplify both installation and ongoing operation. Integrated cable management, optimized airflow and flexible rail systems will contribute to more efficient implementation and easier maintenance.
To protect the equipment during transport, it is supplied Vertiv Rack Extreme with shock-absorbing pallets and reusable ramps that facilitate on-site installation.
Integrates with the Vertiv ecosystem
Vertiv Rack Extreme is designed to work with the company's broader portfolio of data center solutions. The platform is compatible with Vertiv's UPS systems, rack PDUs, cooling systems, and monitoring and management solutions.
Integrated products include Liebert DCD, Liebert XDU, and Avocent KVM and serial console solutions, enabling the creation of a cohesive infrastructure for modern data centers.
