The move is part of the company's long-term strategy to meet the growing demand for secure and uninterrupted electricity supply and data communications in the region.

Luleå becomes a hub in northern Sweden

The operations in Luleå will be the company's central hub in northernmost Sweden and will have around ten employees by the fall, half of whom are new recruits.

Increased need for secure infrastructure

– The electrification and digitalization of society, combined with a deteriorating security situation, makes us more vulnerable to interruptions in electricity and data communication. At the same time, a large part of Sweden's growth in green industrial investments is taking place in the north, investments that are completely dependent of stable power supply and data infrastructure, says Peter Neuberg, President and CEO of Coromatic.

Opening in August

Coromatic's new operations will open in August 2025 in Ytterviken Industrial Area. The premises have both a workshop area and an office. The company is planning several recruitments such as salespeople, service technicians and project managers.

Strong local interest

– We have seen a sharp increase in demand for our services in recent years and already have several large customers in northern Sweden. Sweden, including in the industrial and energy sectors, in the municipalities and the region. The combination of established industry and emerging new types of industries – both with a great need for continuous power supply – together with Luleå's long-term investment as a data center hub, makes the city a perfect place for our establishment, says Peter Neuberg.
