Winter and Spring 2025: Apple's New "HomePad" and More
We'll soon start getting the first Apple product launches of the new year. Here are the first products expected to arrive.
- M4 MacBook Air : Better support for battery, camera, and external display.
- iPhone 4 : OLED edge-to-edge display, AI features and more.
- iPad 11 : Upgraded chip to support Apple Intelligence.
- New iPad Air : Slight revision of the M3 or M4 chip.
- 'HomePad' : All-new smart home screen.
Summer 2025: Light on hardware, heavy on software
Apple's summer is usually a quieter time for hardware launches, as WWDC kicks off a big focus on software instead. However, here's what we expect:
- AirTag 2 : Better range and privacy features.
- M4 Mac Studio : First M4 Ultra chip.
- M4 Mac Pro : Largely unknown, likely revealed at WWDC but launched later.

Potential surprises and Apple's 2025 exit
There are always ways that Apple can surprise us with new products that aren't listed above.
For example, it would be a good year to launch a new Studio Display alongside the Mac Studio and Mac Pro. In addition, a M5 Vision Pro enter production in the second half of the year, which could mean a launch in 2025 or perhaps early 2026.
Possible surprises aside, it looks like a particularly busy year ahead for Apple's hardware releases.
