Nexer is taking another big step forward in the engineering field with a strategic expansion in Stockholm, Linköping and Västerås. Annica Sunnman, former CEO of Nexer India, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Nexer Engineering and will lead the venture.
The Nexer Engineering business area offers solutions in areas such as embedded systems, software in hardware, mechanics, electronics, production and project management. The business area places particular emphasis on team deliveries that can meet the growing demand for sustainable and advanced engineering solutions for the Automotive, Defence, MedTech, Manufacturing and Telecom industries.
Nexer Engineering is already present in Gothenburg, Malmö, Västerås, Linköping and Stockholm, and has had an impressive growth of 20% in 2024. Now it continues its expansion in hardware-related software development, driven by a strong engineering tradition, innovative power and strategic recruitment of cutting-edge expertise.
The geographic expansion is carefully selected to strengthen Nexer's position in advanced technology development. Linköping, with its rich engineering heritage and proximity to Linköping University, is a central hub for innovation and skills provision. Västerås, with its prominent industrial base, creates opportunities to grow in manufacturing and automation technology. At the same time, Stockholm, with its dynamic tech scene and international connections, offers a strategic platform for growth and global expansion.
