DreamHack is coming to Stockholm – it will be the biggest festival ever

DreamHack is coming to Stockholm in November 2024. The world's largest gaming and cultural festival to the world's leading gaming city, to the Nordic region's largest exhibition center. – DreamHack Stockholm will be our biggest festival ever, says Shahin Zarrabi, VP of Festivals EFG.

In November 2024, the festival, together with festival partner The electricity giant, to Stockholm and Stockholmsmässan. As part of the ESL FACEIT Group (EFG), DreamHack already established all over the world. International gaming hubs like Atlanta, Dallas, Melbourne and Tokyo all host DreamHack's amazing festivals. Stockholm is one of the world's leading cities in gaming — now with DreamHack Stockholm as the highlight of the year.

Bringing DreamHack to Stockholm is special to me personally. Stockholm has become the gaming capital of Scandinavia. The Stockholm region is considered one of the top European regions for game development, with everything from leading AAA development to mobile games and indie developers present in the city. It also has more game developers per capita than any other city. The Swedish gaming wonder is a globally renowned phenomenon that has resulted in iconic titles such as Minecraft, Battlefield and Candy Crush. The world’s largest gaming and culture festival will be held at the Stockholm International Fairs in Älvsjö in Stockholm — the largest exhibition center in the Nordic countries.

DreamHack turns 30 in 2024. What started as a LAN festival and which in the 90s was described by the media as “Hackarnas Hultsfred” is today a global sensation with festivals all over the world. A gaming and cultural festival that offers something for everyone and welcomes everyone, no matter who you are. DreamHack is proud of its Swedish heritage, and for 22 years has had its two largest festivals in Jönköping.

DreamHack Summer 2024 will be held in Jönköping between June 14-16. DreamHack Stockholm will be held in Stockholm November 22-24.
