Amazon Web Services (AWS) has launched a new category in its Marketplace that allows customers to purchase third-party AI services directly through their AWS accounts. The addition reflects the growing demand for AI-powered technologies among companies.
SentinelOne is one of the first cybersecurity players to secure a place in this new category. The company makes its solutions Singularity Cloud Security (CNAPP), AI SIEM and the flagship Purple AI available to AWS customers looking for advanced AI tools.
SentinelOne and AWS: A Growing Collaboration
The investment underscores SentinelOne's deepening relationship with AWS. The companies have collaborated previously, including when SentinelOne was a launch partner for AWS Security Hub and through its participation in AWS ISV Accelerate Program, which helps ensure secure software migrations for customers.
Under SentinelOne's own OneCon conference announced last year the companies a Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA)One of the biggest highlights of this agreement was the integration of Purple AI, SentinelOne's AI analytics, with Amazon Bedrock, AWS's platform for delivering multiple foundation models to customers. It enables organizations to choose the foundation model that best suits their needs within the framework for Purple AI.
Expanding AI security tools in AWS Marketplace
With the addition of Singularity Cloud Security and Singularity AI SIEM in the new AI Agents & Tools category, SentinelOne is betting on the growing demand for AI-powered security solutions among enterprises.
Both AWS and SentinelOne sees AI as an important factor when organizations evaluate and purchase software. By offering its AI security tools in the new Marketplace section, SentinelOne wants to make it easier for AWS Customers to Discover and deploy advanced protection without leaving their cloud environment.
Purple AI: More than an AI assistant
The core of SentinelOne's offering is Purple AI, which the company describes as a genuine AI Analyst rather than a traditional assistant. Purple AI is designed to deliver fast and accurate insights and has impressed in demonstrations. However, SentinelOne emphasizes that real performance in live environments is the decisive factor.
Easy access for AWS customers
For AWS users, the integration means that SentinelOne's Singularity Suite can now be purchased and distributed directly from the Marketplace, giving businesses easier access to advanced cybersecurity and AI tools at a time when the threat landscape is becoming increasingly complex.
