According to these sources, Galaxy S25 Ultra to be the thinnest and lightest flagship phone of its generation.
The device will be only 8.2mm thick, thinner than iPhone 16 Pro Max (8.3 mm), and it will weigh 219 grams, which makes it lighter than Pixels 9 Pro XL (221 grams). While some reviewers, including us, found the quality of the titanium to be somewhat lacking, with silicone cases leaving scratches on the frame after extended use, it's still uncertain whether Samsung will improve the quality of the titanium material in the S25 Ultra. The new phone's frame is expected to be completely flat, marking a departure from the slightly curved edges of the S24 Ultra.
Overall, Samsung's 2025 flagship is expected to look significantly different from the front. We recently got our first 3D renders of the Galaxy S25 UltraDespite the revamped design, the camera setup is expected to remain unchanged, confirmed by leaked images of a protective case. Galaxy S25 Ultra It is expected to retain the flat-screen design that Samsung used on the 2024 model (previous models had curved screens). According to leaked images, the screen will be wider, thanks to the slimmer bezels. Early leaks suggest that the screen will measure 6.9 inches diagonally, slightly up from 6.8 inches on S24 Ultra. It will probably have a LTPO Dynamic AMOLED 2X-panel with QHD+ resolution.
Detailed screen specifications for Galaxy S25 Ultra are still not available. Initial rumors suggested that Samsung would equip the device with a M14 OLEDscreen, which would give a 20-30% increase in brightness and efficiency, while battery life would be extended by 10-20%The company has already used M14 OLED for Google's Pixel 9 series and Apple's iPhone 16 series, but now it is claimed that Samsung may skip M14 OLED and stick to M13 OLED for S25 Ultra. Still, the new device should still offer display improvements, including a potential peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits.
Samsung can also upgrade its revolutionary anti-reflective coating to significantly reduce screen glare in bright light, improving readability. While the sensor is still capable, it will benefit from improved software processing and new AI-powered camera features.
Additionally, Samsung is rumored to be upgrading 10MP 3x zoom-the camera to a 50 MP sensor, although this may not become a reality. The existing ISOCELL 3K1-zoom camera can return in S25 Ultra. The 12MP-the selfie camera that was introduced on S23 Ultra is expected to remain unchanged. Expect to see improvements in camera features compared to S24 Ultra, with the new phone capable of recording 8K video and offer advanced features that you would expect from a top-of-the-line smartphone camera. Samsung is also rumored to be working on updating its built-in camera app with design improvements to improve the user experience.

As with previous models, it is expected Samsung exclusively used Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite (also known as Snapdragon 8 Gen 4) for Galaxy S25 Ultra. In fact, the whole Galaxy S25series will use the new Qualcomm processor globally. This chipset is expected to deliver impressive improvements in both CPU and GPU performance.
Furthermore, rumors suggest that Galaxy S25 Ultra can come with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, although we're still waiting for confirmation of RAM and storage configurations.
