Nexer announces that the company has been awarded a framework agreement by The Armed Forces for IT consulting services. The agreement means that Nexer, as one of four suppliers, will provide IT consulting services to The Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) over the next three years, with the possibility of extension up to a total of seven years.

The framework agreement, which enters into force on April 21, 2025 and has a ceiling volume of SEK 2,145 million, covers IT consulting services within three main areas of expertise:

• IT systems
• Testing of IT systems
• IT- och information security

Purpose of the procurement and expected results

The purpose of the procurement is to support The Armed Forces' and FMV's IT operations by providing the necessary expertise and resources for the development, management, operation, maintenance and support of their IT systems. This includes both new and legacy systems, as well as proprietary and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) systems.

The need for IT consultants är rikstäckande, men majoriteten av uppdragen förväntas vara lokaliserade i och runt Stockholm och Mälardalsregionen. Upphandlingen omfattar säkerhetsskyddsavtal enligt säkerhetsskyddslagen, vilket säkerställer att alla uppdrag utförs med highest safety standards.
