According to the Netskope AI Index, the trusted source for global AI usage and implementation in businesses, the use of Anthropics Claude from 56.2 percent to 94.9 percent between April 2025 and April 2026. Meeting compliance standards, minimizing data policy violations, and supporting the secure use of enterprise applications is becoming increasingly important.

The integration between Netskope and Netskope Claude Compliance API extends the safeguards and controls that customers can build around their AI usage and enables security to be integrated directly into Claude workflows. By visualizing Claude activities in the Netskope One platform, companies can govern Claude with the same risk framework, DLP profiles and compliance controls they already use, without increasing operational burden.

Anthropics Compliance API is a REST API which gives corporate IT and security teams programmatic access to activity data from Claude. Instead of relying on manual exports and regular reviews, companies can use Claude Compliance API for programmatic, real-time access to usage data and customer content in Claude, enabling systems to be built for continuous monitoring and automated policy enforcement. Administrators can integrate Claude data into existing compliance dashboards, automatically flag potential issues, and manage data retention.
Through the integration, Netskope makes activity data from Claude visible and enables security teams to:
• Comprehensive overview of the Claude environment: Automatic discovery of all organizations, workspaces, projects, users, API keys, and MCP servers in a complete Claude implementation. Identification of every third-party tool and data source that Claude has access to, and management of access through Netskope's central integrated console.
• Protect data and stop threats: Applying the same DLP policies to Claude Enterprise conversations that already protect other enterprise applications. Every file uploaded to or generated in Claude Enterprise is controlled by Netskope's threat protection and malware engines. At the same time, Claude activities are fed directly into Netskope's UEBA engine, which identifies behavioral anomalies and updates each user's User Confidence Index (UCI), ensuring that risky behavior in Claude does not go unnoticed.
• Ensure audit readiness and maintain control: Continuous evaluation of Claude's configuration against GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2 (AICPA TSC), NIST 800-53, CSA CCM and PCI-DSS, with results directly linked to specific compliance controls so teams know exactly what needs to be addressed and why. The solution enables comprehensive lifecycle management for Claude API keys, from regular key rotation and least privilege audits to identifying inactive or orphaned keys and linking to administrators. All within existing Netscope-workflows without the need for customized implementations.
