Mikael Forsberg has been appointed new CEO of SAP in Sweden. He has had several different roles in SAP and succeeds Antti Soini who is moving on to a top job in EMEA. After just over 20 years in the company and four years as CEO of SAP in Sweden, Antti Soini will now take on the role of new Sales Manager for SAP Services in EMEA.
Michael Forsberg will assume his new role on April 1, 2026. In parallel, he will continue as head of SAP Business Technology Platform in the Nordics and Baltics until a successor has been appointed.
He describes the appointment as a great confidence and highlights his long journey within the company. He highlights the strong foundation that the platform and data team has built and emphasizes the importance of working closely with customers, partners and colleagues when SAP is entering the next phase where data and artificial intelligence meet.
In his new role, Mikael Forsberg will report to Helle Dochedahl, head of SAP in the Nordics and Baltics, and be part of the regional management team.
Michael Forsberg resides in Stockholm with his fiancée Nathalie and their three-year-old daughter Stella. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf and traveling. He is also a committed supporter of Djurgården.

Antti Soini started at SAP in 2006 and has held several senior positions within the company over the past two decades. Since 2022, he has been CEO of SAP in Sweden.
In his new role within EMEA, Antti Soini to be responsible for developing and increasing SAPs sales of services in the region. The focus is on creating long-term customer value and helping organizations to benefit from SAP innovations within, among other things, Business AI.
He describes his time as CEO in Sweden as intense and transformative, marked by rapid technological change and increased demands on both the private and public sectors. At the same time, he highlights the pride in the work carried out together with customers, partners and employees and emphasizes their importance to SAP's current position.
