Lenovo paves the way for AI innovation with modern storage solutions and services

Lenovo today announced a comprehensive suite of new data storage solutions, virtualization infrastructure and data services to help businesses modernize for the applications and AI-driven workloads of the future. The new offerings include updated Lenovo ThinkSystem– and ThinkAgile-solutions, launched alongside new data management services. Together, they form a modern platform for large and mid-sized companies looking to accelerate their AI innovation by more easily deploying, managing and harnessing the value of their data.

According to Gartner 63 percent of companies say they have no or are unsure whether they have the right data governance for AI. Meanwhile, 80 percent of storage systems installed in the past five years are based on slower hard disk technology, according to IDC. This means that many businesses lack the performance and flexibility required for advanced AI applications and new virtualization requirements.

  Hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) with open architecture for seamless platform switching between selected HCI solutions without changing hardware, to provide maximum investment security and flexibility.
• Lenovo ThinkAgile MX Series for Disaggregated Storage for Microsoft Azure Local
  Expanded support for disaggregated external Fibre Channel SAN storage, providing enterprise customers with better storage support for virtualization customers.
• Lenovo ThinkAgile MX Series with NVIDIA RTX Pro 6000
  Integrated support for next-generation GPUs for advanced AI inference in Microsoft Azure Local environments.
• Lenovo ThinkAgile HX Series for AI
  HCI platform with the Nutanix Enterprise AI stack (NAI) for rapid deployment, operation, and scaling of AI models in virtualized and distributed container-based environments.

Services optimized for advanced workloads 
To help customers take full advantage of their new systems, Lenovo is also launching a broad portfolio of hybrid cloud and lifecycle services, with a focus on modernization, reliability and optimized support for storage and AI workloads. The portfolio includes Lenovo Deployment Services for ThinkAgile and ThinkSystem, which help organizations accelerate time to value through more efficient infrastructure deployment, along with a range of storage services that can be used individually or through Lenovo’s flexible TruScale model to improve performance, agility and innovation across the entire storage lifecycle.
