Eficode has appointed Staffan Strand as CEO to accelerate our ambition to lead the AI transformation of the entire software development lifecycle.
Eficode, Europe’s leading AI and software development lifecycle (SDLC) services company, today announced that Staffan Strand has been appointed as its new CEO. Strand has more than two decades of experience in leadership roles within IT consulting, managed services and digital transformation. Most recently, he was CEO and Chairman of the Board of Nexer Group. He will take up his position on May 19th with a focus on accelerating the company’s AI transformation.

Stand most recently came from the role of CEO and Chairman of the Board of Nexer Group, where he had full responsibility for the results of a business within resource consulting, team deliveries and managed services. He was responsible for over 1,000 consultants and 100 managers. Prior to Nexer, he held senior roles at CGI, where as Senior Vice President and Business Area Manager he led an organization with 1,200 employees., and at Alten, where he was responsible for IT and application development consulting in the Nordic region.
Strand holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota. He also brings a competitive mindset from elite sports, having represented Sweden in the high jump at two Olympic Games and won the European Indoor Championships in 2002.
