Latest release strengthens access to trusted enterprise context for AI, analytics, and data sharing

Denodo Platform 9.5 is now available. Denodo, the company behind the AI Data Layer, announces that the new version strengthens the platform's role as a provider of active context for agentic AI, analytics, and self-service data delivery.

Denodo Platform 9.5 makes it easier to define, translate and reuse this business context. The new version strengthens the semantic and contextual intelligence in Denodo Platform while simplifying how organizations build, manage and share data products.

What's new in Denodo Platform 9.5

• An expanded Enterprise Knowledge Graph in the Denodo Data Marketplace which provides better data context and a more reliable foundation for AI.
• Metric Views enable consistent and standardized business metrics in the semantic layer and improve the quality of data-driven business decisions.
• Improved functionality in Denodo Assistant, simplifying the development of data views.
• Expanded integration with the data and AI ecosystem to improve the flow of active context between different data sources and increase the quality of business decisions.

Extends Enterprise Knowledge Graph for richer data context

Denodo Platform 9.5 expands the Data Marketplace, enabling organizations to build an Enterprise Knowledge Graph with a broader selection of data resources and relationships between them.

Managed data products, complemented by new semantic objects such as Metric Views, together form an expanded knowledge graph that describes the business, technical, governance and usage context of an organization's data. This gives users a more complete view of the processes, definitions, controls, relationships and subsequent uses of data, while giving AI assistants and AI agents a significantly better foundation for information retrieval, reasoning and automation.

Reliable KPIs for AI and analytics

Denodo Platform 9.5 introduces Metric Views, a new object in the semantic layer for defining, controlling, and reusing KPIs.

Revenue, profit, number of orders or customer value are often based on formulas, filters, dimensions and groupings that are otherwise recreated in different ways in reports, dashboards and analysis tools. With Metric Views, organizations can define these key figures once in Denodo’s semantic layer. They can then be reused in managed data products, Denodo Data Marketplace, BI tools and AI-powered solutions. This ensures that all users are working with the same up-to-date, contextually relevant and managed data, leading to more reliable decisions and actions.

Version 9.5 also expands integrations with today's data and AI ecosystems. New features include:

• improved support for unstructured data,
• new integrations with Databricks and Azure AI Search,
• support for vector search with indexes for more efficient semantic searches and document searches,
• improved support for Delta tables and Databricks environments,
• higher performance together with Denodo Lakehouse Accelerator and Apache Iceberg.
