The IT company byBrick is thinking new in Stockholm and gathering its specialist consultants in the new company byBrick Tech. At the same time, a new business strategy is being launched with the aim of offering better development opportunities and context for technical experts, and thereby becoming an even stronger supplier of the most challenging development assignments.

System development partner with several tech companies on its client list

Last spring, byBrick acquired Axakon Consulting, a systems development partner with many tech companies on its client list. With its cutting-edge expertise in JavaScript, modern .NET development and AI have created additional breadth in byBrick's consulting delivery. Now CC Tech Consulting is being acquired, which together with byBrick Axakone and byBrick Development forms the foundation for the new constellation. Emil Grönvall, former CEO of byBrick Axakone, will be the leader of this initiative as well.

– It is difficult to grow as a consultancy without compromising culture and independence. With our new model, we centralize support functions in Stockholm and allow our specialist companies to focus wholeheartedly on building strong expertise, culture and knowledge dissemination. We have been sketching this out for many years, so it feels great to now finally get the chance to make the concept a reality, says Emil Grönvall.

Initially, two specialist companies are established under byBrick Tech's roof. Lars Svensson from CC Tech will run business areas focused on .NET and Microsoft technology and Martin Taillefer will be responsible for the company with JavaScript specialists.

As CTO at Axakone Martin has had a key role in the last 5 years. But Martin is fundamentally an entrepreneurial soul who previously started several companies and held leading positions in startups.

This move is right on time, as we are seeing more and more satisfied customers wanting to give us overall responsibility for projects, says Martin Taillefer.

Lars Svensson founded CC Tech Consulting together with Patrik Nyman as recently as last year. Before that, he mainly came from a background in larger organizations. Among other things, he held leading roles at Sogeti and SEB. IT, but has also worked in the startup world both as a founder and leader.

– I see this as an opportunity to continue the journey that Patrik and I have begun, but in a larger and more fun context! We have an incredibly competent team, and we are convinced that through this investment we will be able to deliver even sharper competence to our customers, take on larger projects and above all create more value, concludes Lars Svensson.
