M-Files, a leader in knowledge work automation, today announces that Matt Marriott has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)In this role, Marriott will leverage his extensive industry expertise to lead M-Files' global sales and marketing (GTM) strategy, drive business growth, accelerate M-Files' expansion into key verticals, and strengthen the company's position as the preferred document management system and knowledge work automation solution for enterprises worldwide.
Solid experience from the software industry
With over 25 years of sales management experience in the software industry, Marriott brings a wealth of experience to M-Files. He began his career at IBM as a salesperson and has held senior positions with responsibility for sales teams, solutions and brands at both a national and global level for the better part of two decades.

Leadership roles in global companies
After his time at IBM, Marriott worked as global CRO for Acoustic, a spin-off company from IBM, and CyberTravel (part of Micro Focus). Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of Global Sales and GTM at Quest Software, where he successfully drove revenue growth and expanded market presence.
