Marianne Brandered becomes new CEO of Netset

Netset, which is part of the software group Progrits, has appointed Marianne Brandered appointed new CEOShe will now be responsible for leading Netset's continued growth journey and scaling up the international expansion that the company has already begun.

Experienced background in software and retail

Marianne Brandered has extensive experience from both the software and retail sectors. She has worked as a product manager at Visma and lastly on IKEA, where she developed global solutions. She has also held leadership roles in private equity-owned growth companies.

Brandered succeeds Sam Aston, who, in agreement with the board, is leaving his position after two years as CEO.

Support from Progrit's management

– Netset is in a period of good development in terms of both product and market. Marianne's background in leading roles in product companies and experience in scaling up operations means that she is well prepared to lead Netset into the next phase, says Bjorn Ekstrom, CEO of Progrits.

He adds:

Netset's position in the market

Netset delivers market-leading e-commerce solutions for B2B in IT and telecom in Europe. The company has approximately 60 employees, with headquarters in Malmö.
