The leading visual effects company Important Looking Pirates (ILP) has chosen to renew and expand its agreement with GlobalConnect regarding colocation, meaning that ILP places its own IT equipment in GlobalConnect's data center. With continued growth and increased demands for reliable and sustainable IT-operation, ILP chooses to secure its digital infrastructure with a Nordic player with local presence and long-term capacity to meet tomorrow's digital needs.

ILP has been a customer of GlobalConnect since 2013. The new five-year agreement builds on the long-standing collaboration and more than doubles the capacity of the data center, as the company's technical needs continue to increase.

GlobalConnect is currently expanding its data center capacity in the Nordics to meet a fast growing demand – driven by technologies such as AI, cloud services, streaming and edge computing, but also by an increased need for data sovereignty in a changing geopolitical environment.
