His entry into NetSymphony comes at a time when cybersecurity and new regulatory requirements, such as NIS2Directive and the Swedish Cybersecurity Act, are changing the conditions for how networks must be managed, controlled and documented.

Platform that standardizes network operations in complex environments

NetSymphony has developed a vendor-neutral platform that automates and standardizes network operations in complex multi-vendor IT environments. By orchestrating changes, accesses, and configurations on top of existing infrastructure, it reduces reliance on manual specialist efforts.

The result is improved control, lower operational risk and a continuously updated and traceable overview of the network environment. This becomes increasingly important as responsibility and risk increasingly move up to the management and board level.

“NetSymphony was developed to address the real operational network challenges faced by large, complex organizations. By standardizing network operations in multi-vendor, multi-site environments, both costs and risks can be reduced, while significantly strengthening long-term resilience,” says Andreas Harting.

From technical detail to strategic management issue

According to Harting, many organizations are trying to meet increased security requirements by adding more technical solutions, but without clear structure and governance, complexity remains.

– Without transparency and control in the existing infrastructure The vulnerability exists. NetSymphony addresses precisely the operational core.

For operations within essential and other critical infrastructure, stricter regulations mean increased requirements for risk management, documentation and verifiability. The need for structured and automated working methods is growing rapidly, especially in large and distributed environments.

“Networks are no longer just technical infrastructure, but a strategic risk and governance issue. With Andreas on board, we strengthen our ability to support European organizations in meeting these demands through controlled and automated network operations that can withstand rigorous audit,” says Dennis Jansson.

Briefly about NetSymphony's platform

NetSymphony is a Swedish-developed, vendor-independent orchestration platform for network and security environments. The platform connects existing systems, such as NAC, network segmentation, IPAM and CMDB, in common workflows.

It does not replace existing solutions, but ensures that changes, configurations and lifecycle management are consistent, automated and traceable. The result is unified governance regardless of vendor, reduced manual work and better conditions for maintaining segmentation, control and regulatory compliance over time.

NetSymphony also participates in innovation initiatives in cybersecurity with support from the EU and the Swedish Civil Defence Agency, including those linked to the technical requirements for the NIS2 Directive.
