Ritva Rantala becomes the new Chief Strategy Officer at Cyber Defencely, which focuses on AI-driven cybersecurity.

Cyber Defensely, a rapidly growing Swedish AI security company, is recruiting Ritva Rantala as new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).
She comes most closely from the role of CISO at Transdev, and has previously held leading positions at Customs, Ericsson and Tieto.
The recruitment is taking place in connection with the company launching a new AI tools for evaluating organizations' information security, facing the new Cybersecurity Act that will enter into force in January 2026.

A clear strategy for AI-driven growth

Cyber Defensely has in a short time positioned itself as one of Sweden's most innovative players in AI-supported information and cybersecurity.

Ritva Rantala is systems scientist in the groundwork and has more than 20 years of experience in international technology and security projects.
She has had roles in project management, product development and information security - among others at Ericsson, Tieto, Customs and Transdev.

Her background gives her a unique combination of technical understanding, business strategic perspective and ability to driving change in complex environments.
