Legora announced today that Zeynep Inanoglu Ozdemir has been appointed as the new Chief Marketing Officer. She will lead Legora's global marketing organization as the company accelerates its expansion in the US, strengthens its brand and solidifies its position as a leading platform for agentic AI in the legal sector.
Zeynep comes closest from Atlassian, where as Marketing Manager she led a global marketing organization with over 450 employees in branding, product marketing, demand generation, communications, performance marketing and events. Before that, she was Marketing Manager at Palo Alto Networks, where she contributed to the company's rapid expansion into multiple cybersecurity areas during a period when the company's market capitalization increased fivefold. She also holds a PhD in machine learning from the University of Cambridge.
– Zeynep has done what very few marketing managers have managed to do. She has built strong marketing organizations for large companies, led product-driven growth with direct revenue responsibility, and operated operations at scale without losing the entrepreneurial spirit that makes marketing successful, says Max Junestrand, CEO and co-founder of Legora. She will play an important role in our global expansion and continued brand journey.
With more than 100,000 users and over 1,200 clients in more than 50 countries, Legora is in a phase where the company is moving from a fast-growing challenger to an established global player. Zeynep joins the management team at an important stage to contribute to continued international expansion, strengthen the position of the world's leading law firms and legal teams, and build on the strong brand that Legora has already established.
– Law is one of the world's most demanding and precision-driven professions, and agentic AI has the potential to fundamentally change how legal work is performed, says Zeynep Inanoglu Ozdemir. Legora has built a strong foundation with a product and a team that deeply understands how lawyers work. I look forward to contributing to the next phase of growth and helping build a category-defining company that can shape the future of legal work.
Zeynep is based in San Francisco, where she will also support Legora's growing presence in the US.
