Advania Sweden has achieved Platinum level in EcoVadis international assessment of companies' sustainability work, a rating that is only awarded to one percent of the companies evaluated globally.
EcoVadis is an independent and industry-leading organization that evaluates corporate governance and performance in the areas of environment, labor conditions, human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Each company is rated in relation to the company's size, location and industry. A company with EcoVadis Platinum medal is among the top 1 % of the companies assessed by EcoVadis and is the highest level of recognition for sustainability work within the EcoVadis system.

“Receiving EcoVadis’ highest award, Platinum, is a clear indication that our sustainability work is not only ambitious, but also integrated into our entire business. It is something we have built long-term and purposefully together, and I am both proud and grateful for the commitment that our employees show every day,” says Helena Nordin, Chief Sustainability Officer.
“For us at Advania, the EcoVadis Platinum award is both a recognition of our sustainability work and proof that it strengthens our message regarding the importance of creating sustainable value through the smart use of technology, something that both we and our customers highly value,” says Fredrik Andersson Alktun, Business Area Manager Workplace.

Advania's sustainability work
Advania is actively involved in sustainability issues, which is reflected in the company's membership in the UN Global Compact and the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA). Over the past year, Advania has taken significant steps forward in several important sustainability areas. For example, Advania Sweden has had its short-term climate goals approved by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) and achieved ISO 45001 certification for the company's work environment.
In addition, Advania has for the first time released a combined annual and sustainability report for 2024 that shows clear progress in climate work, governance and transparency. By already adapting reporting to EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), Advania shows that it takes long-term responsibility and a clear commitment to transparent, responsible and forward-looking reporting – long before the legal requirements begin to apply to Advania.
“With our first combined annual and sustainability report published this spring, we can now combine long-term goals and clear climate results with a new reporting structure that strengthens our direction towards a more sustainable, inclusive and responsible digital future, and I am pleased to see that it is already making a difference,” says Helena Nordin, Chief Sustainability Officer.
