Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) presented a comprehensive set of cybersecurity and resilience solutions on Black Hat USA ConferenceWith these innovations, which employ a multi-layered approach, the company aims to protect businesses from the growing threat of cyberattacks. The announcements include a combined network security portfolio and a strategic partnership with cybersecurity giant CrowdStrike.
For the first time since the acquisition of Juniper Networks HPE is showcasing its integrated network security offering, which combines technology from HPE Aruba Networking and HPE Juniper Networking. The new solutions focus on strengthen network security and protect hybrid cloud environments.
AI-powered security and improved network control
One of the most notable innovations is the introduction of a new SASE co-pilot for HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnectThis AI assistant analyzes network activity and security risks, providing accurate, actionable insights to close vulnerabilities and monitor network health. This reinforces HPE’s “zero trust” approach, where no device or user is automatically trusted.
In addition, it expands HPE Aruba Networking Central NAC (Network Access Control) its functionality by enforcing zero-trust policies on both HPE Juniper Networking and third-party devices, giving businesses greater control and consistency across the entire network.
Data protection with HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000
To strengthen companies' resilience against cyber threats, introduces HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000, an advanced data protection solution. HPE positions it as the world's fastest enterprise backup storage. Its all-flash architecture is specifically designed to ensure ultra-fast backup and restore times, which is critical for industries such as financial services and healthcare.
With backup speeds of up to 1.2 petabytes per hour, the solution is almost twice as fast as its closest competitor. This enables data recovery company in just minutes, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity. The scalable architecture also allows for independent capacity and performance increases as data needs grow.
Collaboration with CrowdStrike strengthens cyber resilience
HPE Zerto Software launches new integration hub that gives third-party applications access to Zerto dataCrowdStrike is the exclusive launch partner for this hub. This collaboration combines the power of industry-leading threat detection and cyber remediation.
The integration enables organizations to detect malicious activity in real time using the CrowdStrike Falcon platform. Once a threat is identified, HPE Zerto can restore virtual machines and applications to a clean recovery point just seconds before the attack. The integration also accelerates recovery within the HPE Cyber Resilience Vault, a fully isolated zero-trust environment for ransomware protection and recovery.
Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike, emphasizes the importance of this partnership: “By combining the power of our AI-based Falcon platform with HPE Zerto’s remediation capabilities, we enable organizations to stop breaches, minimize downtime, and maintain business continuity, even in the face of ransomware and other disruptive threats.”
These announcements underline HPE's vision to provide a layered, zero-trust security strategy that encompasses an enterprise's entire IT infrastructure, from network to storage to systems. The new solutions will be available immediately or in Q4 2025.
