Stockholm, March 16, 2026 – Vertiv (NYSE: VRT), a global leader in critical digital infrastructure, today launches Vertiv™ PowerUPS 6000 Industrial. It is an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system designed to deliver reliable power protection for commercial and industrial (C&I) markets. The solution supports operations in industries such as manufacturing, transportation, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, packaging, and steel.
“Traditional UPS systems are not built to handle the electrical instability, high temperatures and contaminants found in industrial environments. The Vertiv PowerUPS 6000 Industrial is built for modern digital industrial systems and operates reliably even in harsh environments with power fluctuations, such as factory floors, refineries and production lines,” said Greg Funk, vice president of power solutions at Vertiv.

Vertiv The PowerUPS 6000 Industrial has an IP42 rating, meaning it can withstand dust, moisture and heat up to 50°C. The UPS system protects critical industrial control systems such as PLC and SCADA, network equipment and production line automation systems, ensuring continued operation in environments where reliable power supply is essential.
The UPS system has a compact cabinet that makes it easy to install where space is limited. All installation and operation can be done from the front, simplifying commissioning, maintenance and service. Vertical PowerUPS 6000 Industrial is energy efficient with up to 97% efficiency in standard mode and 99% in ECO mode. It works with different types of batteries: valve regulated lead-acid batteries, nickel-cadmium batteries and lithium-ion batteries, to meet different runtime needs. The system handles voltage variations within a wide range (-40% to +25%) and delivers clean power with low interference, protecting other equipment. It can be connected in parallel to increase capacity and safety. The electronics are protected against dust, moisture and rust. The system is certified according to European standards EN 50121 and EN 50171, and is adapted for critical industrial applications.
