Cybersecurity company Orange Cyberdefense announces today that it has been awarded a framework agreement with the Swedish Civil Defence Agency (MCF) for security monitoring and real-time surveillance of IT and OT systems.
The procurement covers two sub-areas: security monitoring of IT environments for entities with 75 endpoints or more, and security monitoring of OT environments. In MCF's evaluation, Orange Cyber Defense highest possible weighted quality rating in both sub-areas. The assessment was based on, among other things, the suppliers' detection ability, competence, reporting to affected operations, information sharing, as well as governance and measurability.
– Critical operations need to be able to detect, assess and manage cyber threats in a timely manner. Through the framework agreements, vital organizations gain access to security services that strengthen their operational capabilities in both IT and OT security. We are proud that MCF's evaluation shows the strength of our delivery, says Kare Nordstrom, Head of Sweden at Orange Cyberdefense.
Within the framework of the agreements, Orange Cyber Defense deliver security monitoring and real-time surveillance to identify suspicious events, analyze alarms, provide relevant reporting and provide support when incidents occur. – For us, the agreements are about contributing concrete security capabilities to businesses that have high demands on availability, preparedness and continuity. We look forward to supporting the organizations concerned with services that help them prevent, detect and manage cyber attacks, says Kare Nordstrom.
