The investment marks the next step in a rapid growth journey for Aderian, which since its inception in 2022 has grown to around SEK 2.5 billion in turnover, more than 850 employees and over 10,000 customers in Sweden and Norway.

Over 30 acquisitions since inception

Adrian offers services and solutions within, among other things, cloud, cybersecurity, AI and analytics, networking, IT operations and modern digital workplaces.

Growth has occurred both organically and through an extensive acquisition strategy. Since its inception, the group has implemented over 30 strategic acquisitions.

Earlier in 2026, Aderian also entered the Norwegian market through the acquisition of five Norwegian IT companies.

With Searchlight as a new investor, the plan is to continue developing the group's service offering, including within cybersecurity, AI and analytics, and accelerate expansion in the Nordics through both organic growth and further strategic acquisitions.

Aiming for a leading position in the Nordics

Christian Dempe, President and CEO of Aderian Group, describes the investment as an important step in the company's development.

According to Dempe, over the past three and a half years, Aderian has built a strong business and established itself as an IT partner for small and medium-sized businesses in Sweden and Norway.

With Searchlight's support, the company believes it will be better positioned to increase its growth rate, develop its expertise and strengthen its presence in the Nordic market. The goal is to develop into a leading pan-Nordic provider of managed IT services.

Searchlight joins as a new partner

Searchlight Capital Partners is a global investment company with around $17 billion in assets under management and offices in London, New York, Miami and Toronto. The company invests in telecommunications, media, business services, industrials and financial services, among other things.

Giles Marshall, partner at Searchlight, highlights the combination of Aderian's size and the local companies' customer relationships and market knowledge as an important part of the investment.

According to the company, Searchlight sees opportunities to support Aderian's continued expansion and development in the Nordic market.

Adelis sells majority ownership

The transaction also means that Adelis Equity Partners sells its majority ownership in Aderian to Searchlight Capital. Adelis became the majority owner in February 2023, when Aderian consisted of ten Swedish managed IT service companies.

During Adelis' ownership period, Aderian's turnover has tripled, according to Adelis, to around SEK 2.5 billion, while EBITA has more than tripled to over 300 million kronor. The expansion has been driven by organic growth, more than 30 additional acquisitions and investments in the organization.

Erik Hallert, partner at Adelis Equity Partners, describes the development from an idea to a leading Nordic IT platform in a few years as a significant journey and believes that Aderian is in a strong position for the next growth phase.

Aderian continues the consolidation of the Nordic IT market

The investment comes at a time when Aderian has quickly built a larger platform of local IT companies.

The group's model is based on combining local presence and entrepreneurship with resources and specialist expertise from a common group. The service portfolio includes IT and application operations, infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, data and AI, user support and digitalization.

With Searchlight's capital and international network, Aderian is now moving forward with the ambition to grow further in the Nordic region, both through existing operations and through new acquisitions.
