Webhallen is organizing Streamhjälpen for the seventh time. "The goal for 2024 is to get over a million." – Published by IT-Branschen

Since 2017, Webhallen arranged Streamhjälpen, a 144-hour charity stream focusing on gaming, the gaming industry and everything around it. The proceeds go entirely to Musikhjälpen and just like in the original, the hosts are placed in a cage and it is streamed live 24 hours a day. During the week, the hosts are visited by people connected to gaming, including game manufacturers, suppliers of gaming accessories, influencers, e-sports players and many more. Otherwise, of course, games are played, challenges are completed and a lot of surprises appear during the week.

For the first time, there are 5 presenters in the studio, which will enable more activities and open up to receive guests at all times of the day. The studio itself is also more ambitious than ever with clear influences from the gaming world and the stream will be visible on more platforms, although the main channel and chat will remain on Twitch.

-"We have always had the ambition to do a little better than the year before, and this year I think we have taken action from a perspective that will be clearly noticeable to our viewers. Somewhere the focus is as usual to ensure as high a sum as possible for Musikhjälpen and the goal is clear this year. We are going to exceed the million," says Webhallen's CMO, Michael Karlsson.

Production will take place as in previous years in cooperation with Qruxel Productions in central Stockholm, where work has been going on at full speed for a long time to ensure that all the pieces fall into place.

-"We love producing Streamhjälpen at the end of every year and this year I have to say that the gang has cooked up something that is the most ambitious I have ever seen in a similar context. More guests than ever, more presenters and a completely crazy setting." It will be fun to see people's reactions when we go live," says Aaron Vesterberg Ringhög COO at Qruxel Productions.

Among the hosts we find names such as Marcus Toth, who is a well-known profile in e-sports and Matilda Smedius, who, among other things, lent the voice to the character Brigitte in the game Overwatch. They are strengthened by Amanda “Ebiisan”, Jonathan “Chosenba” and Lin “SWE_Beforewefall”, the latter of which makes a comeback from Streamhjälpen 2022 & 2023. All the hosts are experienced streamers and have been handpicked to ensure that the high level is maintained this year as well.

Stream Help 2024 starts on Monday, December 9th at 8:00 PM and ends on Sunday, December 15th at 8:00 PM. Follow the stream at twitch.tv/webhallen or read more at streamhjalpen.se
