Skånska IXX is a family business that has managed to combine continued close involvement with the strength of a larger organization. Today, two years after they were acquired by Nordlo, profitability is higher than ever.
– We have increased capacity but with the same freedom. Customers like it, they want to talk to the person who has the mandate to make decisions, says Mattias Christensson, CEO of Nordlo in the South.
Nordlo's operations in Skåne received a strong boost when IXX IT-partner was acquired in 2024. The 40-year-old family business was founded by Monika Christensson and was run from 2014 by her sons Mattias, Fredrik and Olof.
– We were looking for a partner to grow with, who could make us more professional while maintaining the family and entrepreneurial spirit.
Mattias Christensson is currently CEO of Nordlo in Syd, with offices in Malmö, Ängelholm and Helsingborg. In the last two years, turnover in the region has increased from SEK 95 million to SEK 126 million, while profitability has almost doubled.
– Nordlo should be a close and long-term IT partner. For us, this is expressed in working in a familiar way and being ourselves.
Nordlo's acquisition model is based on the companies that become part of the group continuing to be run locally, with their own responsibility for the business. This means that decisions are made close to the customer, without long decision-making processes.
– This allows us to be fast, flexible and adapt to the customer's reality. It provides a unique relationship and is important for many companies in this region. The feeling of freedom and personal responsibility is contagious to everyone in the company, we are not just a production unit in a large group.
Local customer work is combined with resources from Nordlo's national organization, which means customers have access to broad specialist expertise in areas such as cloud services, IT security and AI, while maintaining close contact with their local partner.

For Nordlo Syd, the resources have made it possible to broaden the offering and handle larger and more complex assignments. The ambition is to reach out more widely in the region.
– We have put a lot of effort into putting the organization together, coordinating the offices and creating a stable foundation. Now we are ready to grow further.
Mattias' brothers and founder Monika are still involved, today as minority owners in Nordlo Group.
– They are proud of where we are today, where we are now growing as Nordlo and still have the local soul. Nordlo's way of working with local roots and employees who are unusually committed is a model that works, we are proof of that, says Mattias Christensson, CEO Northland in the South.
Since Nordlo's formation in 2018, 19 entrepreneur-led companies have been acquired in Sweden and Norway. In 2024, the main owner FSN Capital Partners contributed SEK 1.5 billion to accelerate expansion.
