Dynatrace has launched Live Debugger, a new tool that enables debugging of thousands of services simultaneously in production environments without impacting application performance. The solution is designed to meet the demands of today's increasingly complex cloud and AI environments.
Live Debugger makes it easier for developers to identify and resolve issues in real time, without having to stop or change code. It’s a key step in reducing the time and cost of troubleshooting – while ensuring mission-critical systems are working as they should.
Early adopters, including telecom company TELUS, report that the tool has reduced troubleshooting time by up to 95 percent. Live Debugger is tailored for modern enterprises using cloud services from AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and RedHat OpenShift, among others.
Short About Live Debugger:
Direct access to data – Developers quickly gain access to critical information about the application’s functionality directly from the production environment. No new code, reboots, or deployments are required, saving both time and resources.
Troubleshooting without disruption – It is possible to review the complete state of the application, including variables, execution traces and error messages – without affecting operations. This makes troubleshooting safe even in mission-critical environments.
Support for large-scale search – Live Debugger can handle debugging thousands of running processes simultaneously. This makes it easier to discover unexpected problems and frees up time for innovation and development.
– Developers want modern tools that reduce the time they need to spend on troubleshooting. Traditional methods are both slow and difficult to use in production environments. Dynatrace Live Debugger simplifies the process and makes it easier to address critical application issues, says Adam Resnick, analyst at IDC.
– Dynatrace Live Debugger opens up entirely new possibilities for companies managing complex cloud and AI environments. By troubleshooting in real time without impacting application performance, developers get the data they need to succeed. This is a key part of creating solutions for AI-powered systems of the future, says Steve Tack, Chief Product Officer at Dynatrace.
Live Debugger is now part of Dynatrace Observability for Developers, a solution that gives developers better insights and greater control over their applications.
